• Problem - Leaking underground gasoline storage tank abandoned in the 1960’s resulting in a BETX groundwater plume extending into a residential area.
  
  
• Solution - Installed phytoremediation down-gradient of former tank location. BETX concentrations in groundwater were reduced to non-detectable levels within three years.
  
  
• Traditional Technologies Replaced - Groundwater pump-and-treat, soil vapor extraction.
